Artist Statement

My work is shaped by the life I observe, the time I inhabit and the inner worlds that emerge between reality and imagination.

For nearly two decades, I have explored a visual language in which human figures, particularly the enigmatic feminine form, become intertwined with nature. Animals, birds, insects, rivers, trees, wildflowers and butterflies enter these imagined landscapes as symbols of life, transformation and mystery. Together, these elements appear not merely as inhabitants of nature, but as participants in its continuous act of creation.

I am equally interested in the quiet tension between the natural world and contemporary life. Couples absorbed in taking selfies may appear alongside landscapes of striking beauty, reflecting how modern habits can distance us from the world immediately around us.

Through these contrasts, my paintings invite viewers into spaces that are familiar yet dreamlike, where fantasy, nature and human experience coexist. They are reflections on our relationship with the living world and the mysteries that continue to surround it.
