Artist Statement

My artistic practice emerges from the memories of my childhood in Konkala, a village where nature was not merely a landscape, but a living presence. The trees, plants, birds, animals, earth, and changing seasons became my earliest visual language. Growing up amidst these surroundings, I developed an intuitive connection with nature that continues to shape my imagination.

I begin with an empty canvas and no fixed destination; the painting itself shows me the path. Through this process, I explore the delicate boundaries between human beings and nature, figuration and abstraction, memory and imagination. Flora and fauna often appear as symbolic forms, carrying fragments of childhood, emotion, and the mysteries of existence.

My works reflect my belief that nature holds an infinite creative energy and a quiet wisdom. In a rapidly changing world shaped by human desire and development, I look towards nature as a source of balance, reflection, and renewal. My paintings are therefore both personal memories and meditations on our shared relationship with the living world.
